'Background 5' - The Wallpaper App for iphone 5

The biggest difference between iphone 5 and iphone 4 is the resolution. The screen size of top and bottom has been changed so that you can place apps 5 lines not 4 in a screen of iphone 5. So, if you put any photos or images of iphone 4 in iphone 5, the proportion becomes unbalanced. That's why 'Background 5' is up now!!

As you see above, a status bar is missing. Is it a bug? Nope! a status bar and a wallpaper seem united. Other wallpaper apps provide images which leave something to be desired because they are seperated from a status bar but Background 5's status bar missing wallpapers make iphone 5' screen bigger and cleaner.

And I can place icon frames as I like? Many apps provide hundreds of icon frames but it is the first time for users to place icon frames as they want. In fact, the beauty of a wallpaper doesn't persist if it's fully covered by icon frames but Background 5 solved the problem.

Besides, there is a surprise if you placed group icon frames. the bulbs are lighted if you tap the group icon because it becomes translucent once it's tapped.

A Wallpaper app 'Background 5' seems filled with full of creative energy. You should try it!!!

Real Escape Game

I had a chance to conduct the offline game, 'Real Escape Game' last Friday(Once) and Saturday(3 Times). It is very popular in Japan, held even in Tokyo dome with 1700 audiences. In Taiwan, tickets are always sold out in 10 minutes. But unfortunately, I have  just got to know this game this time.

If you enjoy online escape game, you know what it is. restricted space, puzzles, combination of the answers, the real answers and Escape! And you can enjoy it in real world!! If you enjoy in online, you do it by yourself but if you join this game, you can do it with others. It means the new keyword 'Teamwork' is added.

Now, maybe you want to ask me 'So, is it really interesting?' 'Does everyone really enjoy it?'. My answer is 'Yes!!' I also wondered 'can this game satisfy Korean audiences who are the most particular about anything in the world?' 'Do they really participate in the game?'

But surprisingly, as soon as I said 'Game Start', they jumped into the game. Whenever the movie which notifies time is passing, I even heard that all the peoples heaved a sigh.

This game is also known as a very difficult puzzles. (The percentage of correct answer is below 10%) 4 times performances with 25 teams in Korea but only 2 teams could escape with a correct answer. Others were satisfied with enjoying this game even though they failed to escape.

In December, the new real escape game will be held in Korea. I hope I could be the part of it again.

Batman Arkham City

I couldn't help being up all night playing it despite its hard control and difficult missions. It was PERFECT itself. I just sum up its fun factors

1. Flying
Flying is one of great fun factors in this game. It helps Batman move faster and makes me feel a kind of freedom. But landing on the right place is quite difficult so that sometimes I show up myself to enemies even though I wanted to land behind of them.

2. Fighting
Compared to Bayonetta, fighting is more realistic. When I played Bayonetta, I felt like being separated from her because her fighting actions were too much. But when I played Batman, it seemed like I was fighting. Also, it was good to use only 2 buttons to fight mostly (For such a poor skilled gamer, me).

3. Fuzzle
I like steady going game. So, puzzles between actions like setting which one I take over first among enemies in train, finding a person or  thing give me time to relax and I like it.

Above all, my simulation sickness was quite cured while I play it. I think it's time to play PORTAL!!

The Board Game, 'Agricola'

I've never heard of its name (though it's quite famous among board game players) and I was just sick and tired of its settings to start it. So, I really didn't want to play it at the first time. But my colleague loves it so I should have played even 3 times! But... I began to enjoy it!! I could understand its complicated rules finally.

The game story is based on German farms in 17th century. The couples who own small house and land feed cattle, cultivate crops, expand a house and increase their family. To win the game, you should choose which one you will focus on. But your co-players's decision affect on yours so Do not enjoy it, just think, think think, think!!

I'm quite accustomed to it but still its complicated settings bother me!! You even must set things for next round whenever each round ends!! I think if it's conversed to online game or a smartphone game, all the annoying things will be gone!! So, Agricola!! Please!!!

Flash Dance in SUR40

It's a bless for developers to have a  brand new device. And it came to us! SUR40(a.k.a. Pixel Sense) which is co-developed by MS & Samsung.

40" LCD screen and 52 multi-touch supports and windows 7 available! 'Best Evolution' awarded in CES 2012 and good responses from various international medias. Now on sale in 23 countries but because of its high price(more than 8000 usd), not for publics but for VIPs.

And WE made the rhythm action game for this device. So called 'Flash Dance'!! Inspired from flash mob but finished as 'One-Button Rhythm Action Flag Game' considering the device's characteristics and game's fun.

These dudes are going around and dancing in the game. 2~4 players play in the corner of the device at the same time so that only top-view is available. And because it's a one-button game, young and old enjoy it.

Ready to watch 'Play Movie'? Check this out!!

Awesome Board Games in iPhone

Life, Blue Marble, Monopoly... Do they remind you good memories in childhood? Want to play them again? But they are quite expensive now and even hard to find where to buy. So, why don't you get them in appstore? In addition to them, you also can find another good board games like below.

1. TTR Pocket

It is the game linking the railways between city to city. You can choose the railways you want then collect train cards to link railways one by one. Multi-play on wi-fi and network are available.

There are lots of variables in this game so that there is no certain must-win strategy. That's the point in this game. Even though you are the beginner for this game, you may beat the veteran player.

2. Scotland Yard

It is based on Hide-and-seek. Up to 5 detectives chase 1 thief(a.k.a. Mr.X) using taxi, subway or tram. However, the number of using each transportation is limited so that each detective should consider it very carefully not to be stuck in the end of the game. There are not only basic transportation but also special movement like '2X' and 'Disappear' for Mr.X to avoid from detectives.

Only detectives are visible. Instead, detectives can see what transportation Mr.X uses each turn. And Mr.X shows himself only on 3, 8, 13 and 18th movement so detectives must take the chance. On the other hand, Mr.X should turn this disadvantage around.

You can choose yourself as Mr.X or one of the detectives at first and you may like both modes. Like TTR, blue-tooth or network is available but playing by yourself is also very interesting.

Simulation Sickness

Simulation Sickness(Motion Sickness) is uncomfortable dizziness, vomiting and nausea as the inharmony between visuals and equilibrium when you play good graphic's 3D games(FPS games, particularly). It means the brain perceives that the body is moving but is not.

It seems like peoples who don't have good space sense usually undergo. And I'm one of them.

I really love to play FPS games but after 5 minutes' play, I'm knocked down. I even can't open my eyes, just lying on the bed about 20~30 minutes.

So, I just sold out all the FPS games in my house bought Batman Akam City instead.
